No Surprises Act
As of January 1, 2022, consumers have new billing protections when getting emergency care, non-emergency care from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, and air ambulance services from out-of-network providers. Through new rules aimed to protect consumers, excessive out-of-pocket costs are restricted, and emergency services must continue to be covered without any prior authorization, and regardless of whether or not a provider or facility in in-network.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 was enabled on December 27, 2020 and contains many provisions to help protect consumers from surprise bills, including the No Surprises Act under title I and Transparency under title II. Please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises to learn more about protections for consumers, understanding costs in advance to avoid surprise bills, and what happens when payment disagreements arise after receiving medical care.

We participate with most insurance companies. We also accept new Medicaid patients 12 years and under. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover and Debit Cards. If you have any questions about insurance or credit card coverage, please call our business department at (203)777-7500.

Please note our CANCELLATION and NO SHOW Policy, effective February 15, 2017.
If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please call 203-787-4951 at least 24 hours before the appointment.
There will be a $25 charge for missing your appointment without a 24 hour notification call.
Patients who NO SHOW three or more times in a 12 month period may be dismissed from the practice.
